Diaries were personal to an individual. He/She write about their daily activities, experiences, and convey their anger, happiness, opinions and ideas. It would be boorish if one peeks into another’s diary. Then I remember during my primary school days there were the autograph books. Although addressed as autograph books, it rather contained short biodata of ones friends. I would say that friendster is like an advancement of the autograph books.
I remember the first blog I encountered. It is owned by this female friend. I was actually in the middle of a chat with her and she messaged me the link to her blog asking me to read it. I thought it would be something interesting and was craving for some good topic. My expectation was fired when her blog was all about her day. Where she went, whom she met, who she screwed, etc.
Another one I recently read was from this girl I dated a week ago. I went out with her on a Saturday. The following day I read her blog. I was taken back! My name was mentioned, “I met up with Yuga...”. I don’t understand these bloggers. Why would someone want to read about your daily affairs?
However I have to say it is sometimes finicky peeking into such a blog especially if, “I got drunk and then I don’t know what happened. But I was glad, thanks to Joe for sending me back home” was in it.
